What a wonderful post! I totally understand where you are coming from. I am a self-admitted hermit of sorts and have often said that I prefer most animals to most humans. Thank you for letting me know that I am not the only one to feel this way. Think I am going to go put on my XM headphones, grab a cat and enjoy the night.
