So many people this year, and every year, will spend Christmas alone. Separated from their family through school, through circumstances, through loss. So many out there will spend Christmas and New Years struggling through the weight of depression and the lonliness that curses us all.
This year, be a light.
Be a light for someone. Call someone you know will be alone this year. Write someone you know is far away from home. Hug someone you know that has lost someone this year. Tell them it’s alright to mourn, and it’s alright to smile too.
Here’s a little light from me.

Hey, I think thats a really nice gesture…we recently lost our grandmother, so I am going to try and be there for my mother this year. :)

Thanks so much Dan.
The holidays can be such a hard time for so many people, it shouldn’t take too much just to reach out to one person this year–I am so glad that your mother has such a great family and son to lean on this year :)
