I'm sorry, Ghunibee, I haven't any idea why it's hanging up for you. Most of my articles are submitted via Word Document and upload fine. The only issue I was having was the disappearance of my images I was using with articles. That seems to be fixed.

I haven't any advice for you, but maybe a google search or poke about might help?

Unfortunately, Mo, that's a very vague statement and I'm not sure exactly, how to help you.

Rejected content generally comes with a note telling you why it was rejected.

If you are publishing stories some things to keep in mind: Stories and articles you have published elsewhere will be rejected. You have to upload original articles and stories which have not been published elsewhere.

Make sure your writing is decent: spell checked and decent grasp on grammar. (As you can see, I am not perfect either, but a go of it helps.)

If you are submitting images: remember to keep your image description short and too the point. Too long and they tend to reject it. Same with titling your images. Remember to title it something specific to what the image is.

Last but never least, there is always the FAQ and HELP for you to read to see if that may help you. :)

Good luck!

I have used Triond and had a problem uploading a word doc with photographs (my own), the first article took about an hour to upload, the second was text only and was uploaded in seconds, my third just sits loading and goes nowhere. Triond support (Kim) has been very helpful, not always answering what I ask but does come back with offers of advice, ie check out my javascript is enabled (it is). I have tried for a week now just to upload one article and am wondering if anyone out there has any advice they can offer me.
I enjoyed reading this article and the comments that followed on,thanks for sharing.

Zackatoustra,
I used to have this problem too. I just had to wait about 5 minutes [at the most] before the catagories appeared. It is just slow with any slow internet connections, if I am correct. So next time that problem is there, just keep it on that page for 5 minutes, and wait for the list to appear. I hope that helps.

Heya Zack!

I have to admit that I haven't tried uploading any file with the new site redesign. It may be a bug, but I can't offer any helpful advice for you at the moment because I haven't submitted in a bit!

Have you attempted to find a link to support or a place you can e-mail Triond about this?

Thanks very much Zack, for following me!

Hi guys, gals.
I've just suscribed to Triond, to monetize my own blabla (french word for "babbling", I guess).
But I can't seem to be able to upload my content, as a.txt, or .doc.
The problem is that the submission form asks me to "select a category", by "selecting a fie", but there is no choice offered in this dropdwon box, so I can't choose any category...

Do you guys have any idea what this means, and how I can workaround that 'little implementation feature'(or "bug", as we call that in french)?

Thanks.

(Melissa, you have a new member following you, btw!)

I've been using WordDoc's and simply inserting an image via Word's tools. So your response makes me wonder even more why my images weren't uploaded.

Thanks for dropping by Wicke, very handy article on Triond, too! :)

I added my Wordpress installation documentation in ODT format and it shows correctly (after one incomplete upload or other kind of file error).

@Mitchell,

Thanks for coming back and giving a detailed step by step. That's exactly what I've been doing, however, which is why I am puzzled as to why none of them show up.

And, of course, all of the images are images I've taken myself, so I can obviously use them. So as far as I know, then, it's an issue on Trionds or whomever edits and uploads whatever I write.

But there isn't any one at first glance, to contact to speak to about this, thus why I asked. Thanks again for clarifying and coming back.
